We are "Chatterie des Mûres Sauvages", a brazilian Maine Coon breeder in Verneuil sur Seine, 30 minutes from Paris.
We are a small Maine Coon cattery. We work with outcross and foundation cats and our goal is to reduce inbreeding in the breed in next generations, but also preserve a moderate Maine Coon type. As a major part of this plan, we are very exigent towards health issues. Our breeding cats are tested in a regular basis for HCM, PKD and HD, as well as DNA tests such as HCM1 and SMA. Our breeding cats are the result of a very strict selection in terms of health, pedigree and type, which reflect not only our goal as breeders but also our love and respect for them. All our cats are in Pawpeds database, where you can also find information on their health. We are also very proud of being the first brazilian Mco Cattery in France or maybe in Europe...You're going to find here not only information about the Maine Coon cat, but also our kittens availables and our life together with cats.
